Wow. This incredible Romeo Gigli dress from the fall/winter 1992-1993 collection is truly a work of art. Made from a light weight wool fabric blend in a beautiful deep maroon shade this dress is masterfully cut. Featuring slim arms and a slight mock turtleneck, the skirt of the dress is cut from yards of fabric in varying lengths creating a jagged asymmetrical effect. Large rosettes encircle the body seemingly attaching the pleated skirt to the body. The movement of this dress is absolutely insane and comes to life on the body.
